My Activity
Reviewed Hard Polenta Cakes
"The polenta was fantastic! OK what else is new, is Chef Ann!
You have to be careful with the type of polenta you buy, the cooking time and amount of water can vary from five minutes to 30. Watch out for the salt, the parmesan cheese is salty, the milk and mascarpone cheese are sweet so add your salt in small increments until you get it just right"
Reviewed Roasted Chicken and Potatoes
"This chicken was super juicy and cooked to perfection. The fresh herbs really make a big difference. I put a cut up onion and Lemmon in the cavity for extra flavor and moisture.""
About Me
Lupe Cookswell was born in Peru and loves to cook. Entertaining the family is very important to me because it brings everyone to the table and it reminds me of my childhood memories and traditions, every Sunday, my whole family used to get together. I come from a very artistic family, my mother and siblings were talented in many ways. My mother was a fantastic cook and a singer, my uncles played the piano and guitar and one of my aunts was an opera ginger. Every Sunday we had a theme dinner, my favorite was Italian night, what made it special was the spaghetti and meat sauce. While my mother was busy in the kitchen cooking my aunt Maria Elena sang her Italian songs and my uncle Fernando accompanied her in the piano.
