My Activity
Reviewed Beef Bourguignon
"I've made this twice and it is so good. Agree with the "fall in love with it all over again" review! I'll make this a bunch.""
Reviewed Mighty Meaty Meatloaf
"Made this twice both stragiht recipe and without veal and subbing crushed pita chips for bread crumbs. Undoubtedly the best meatloaf I've had. And the Baby BAM is a useful seasoning blend around the kitchen!
Reviewed Baked Macaroni and Cheese
"Cleaning ou fridge and I found some old unique cheeses (Robusto and Unikass) that where no longer edible (the old kitchen aid had a time shredding the Unikass). They are sharp and flavorful - great use of these in this dish, excellent mac and cheese though I would have liked it more velvety it was likely due to the age and moisture content of the old cheese. Another HIT for you Alton! As always the direction was flawless (if you knew what tempering and egg was...)
Reviewed City Ham
"Ahh Mr. Brown - you've done it again! This ham is delicious, juicy, succulent and so easy! My 7 year old ate a pound of it, every one else enjoyed every bite! And for a total of $21 we'll get several more meals from it - the bone is just now lending iteself to the stock pot for soup.
I chose to leave the towel out of the bottom - why I choose to ignore direction at times counfounds me! The scraping and soaking of the pan has been retired for the nitght, will start anew in the morning - but will prevail. USE THE TOWEL!
Reviewed Balsamic Chicken Drumettes
"My kids LOVE this one - 1-7 years and they finish it every time. I'll buy an 18 pack of wings and marinate whole, break them down after cooking. Often leave off the seeds when it is just for home. Very easy - agree that the marinade dipping sauce continues to inprove as it cools.
