Reviewed Mississippi Mud Cake
"I love Paula Deen, but this is the worst Mississip mud cake I have ever made. I literally through it away and dug out one of my 30 year old cookbooks to get the recipe. I tried her version with marshmallows, but the marshmallow creme is much better. There was too much cake and not nearly enough icing. The icing was delicious, but the cake was not sweet enough. I made it for my boyfriends birthday, and I am not lying when I say I threw it away after one bite. I didn't even let him try his piece. I'm sorry for all of you that have never had Mississippi mud cake and thought this was good. I wish you could try my version, it would blow you away!

Born and raised in Texas on home cooking. Love Southern Cooking and new trying new recipes. Hate store bought or bakery items. When you are raised on scractch cooking, nothing else compares! Don't give me a recipe that says add salsa, add barbecue sauce or add enchilada sauce, I want the recipe. Not something out of a jar.
