Reviewed Baked French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup

Jul 8, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Very tasty and very simple. This would be a great dish for kids to make for special occasions. It is nearly impossible to mess up, has no cutting (if you use pre-sliced bread), no stovetop cooking and doesn't need to look "precise." "

This bread was far better than I thought it would be, considering that it took me no longer than three minutes to throw the ingredients together! It was dense, sweet and was a lovely color after baking. I served it with baked beans and pork chops, which was a great combination, but it was even better a couple of days later with super spicy chili....
