My Activity

Reviewed Slow Cooked French Dip

"This recipe is delicious! I actually cooked my meat on low for 10 hours while at work (after searing it in the pot. Who knew you can sear the meat in same pot? Love it! Anyhow, the meat melted in our mouths and went so well with the cheese and onions. It was amazing! =""

Reviewed Parmesan Chicken

"Delicious! I didn't have the flavored bread crumbs so I used organic panko crumbs and added Italian seasonings. Instead of the greens on top, I just served a side salad as my husband loves salads with lots of veggies. I also served it with angel hair noodles and homemade Alfredo sauce (heavy cream, butter, Parmesan cheese, and pepper). My husband and company loved it!

Thank you to kristykay for suggesting to leave the chicken in the oven until ready to serve. I cooked different sizes of chicken breasts and as each one finished, they got moved down to the oven while the other ones finished cooking. When it was time to serve, they were all hot and none were overdone.

Reviewed Momma Callie's Banana Nut Bread with Honey Butter

"Delicious bread! After reading reviews, I also added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon (might use a little more next time) and substituted walnuts for the pecans. I also covered the bread with foil after 30 min and cooked it for an additional 40 min after that. All of the batter was able to fit in my loaf pan, but I put a little bit into two muffin cups for fun. Unfortunately, they finished way faster than the bread did and were over done. I think the recipe can probably work fine in muffin cups, but it probably cooks for less time.
