Reviewed ribollita

Nov 6, 2014 on

i am just obsessed with Ina's recipes! They always turn out amazing. I did simplify this recipe by using one 15 oz. can of cannellini beans, and I did not puree them at all. I also substituted fresh spinach for the cabbage. I figured it was healthier, and our Sam's Club has a great kale/spin medley that is so easy to use. Finally, I added a parmesan...

I actually combined this recipe with Ina' recipe for Ribollita, and I am going to rate both 5 stars. This is such a yummy and hearty soup! What I changed from this recipe is omitted the tomato paste, herbs de Provence and bay leaf, subbed bacon for pancetta, and a freshkale/spinach medley for the frozen spinach. Also just served over french baquette...

These were absolutely delicious! I only used 2 cups choc chips, which turned out to be plenty. Omitted the nuts. I had to use a glass 9 x 13 pan, so I adjusted my baking time to 27 minutes. Then once cool, I put them in the fridge to set. Turned out amazing-slightly underbaked, gooey yet crunchy on the edges. Chocolate chip lovers dream!

Ina, you've done it again! I made this tonight, and my son who won't eat salmon ate two pieces smothered in this yummy sauce! It is a wonderful, different preparation for salmon. I served mine open face on toasted sourdough bread, and I did omit the capers as we aren't a fan of them. I also substituted a kale/spinach mix for the mesclun. The...

Reviewed cole slaw with pecans and spicy dressing

Jul 10, 2014 on

This is a fantastic recipe! There are so many flavors, and while it is not typical, it is one of the best I have ever had. My husband said it was the best he's ever tasted, and the guests we served it to asked for the recipe. I did use the bagged coleslaw cabbage mix to start, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Tyler, you are awesome!! I...

BEST pork chops ever!!! Definitely try this recipe. Our Giant Eagle carries thin-sliced pork chops that were perfect for this recipe, and didn't need even six minutes on each side. My kids and picky husband all loved this, as did I! We will be making this again and again. Thanks Giada!!

Hands down, these are the best blueberry muffins I have ever had! I did add a streusel topping to them, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. They are addicting! Ina is always my go-to when looking for recipes. She never disappoints. Thanks Ina for sharing your amazing ideas and making me look like I am a good cook! :)"

Fabulous! The dip and the pita chips are absolutely delicious. I have had a version of this from a local Italian restaurant, and I've been looking for a recipe to duplicate it. This one tops it. Everything about it is tasty. I added an extra clove of garlic (because I love garlic!), and it is super garlic-y, but what a great appetizer. Thank"

This is a delicious and very easy soup! My picky child also loved it. Definitely worth a try. I couldn't get fresh thyme, so I subbed dried Italian seasoning . Also omitted parm cheese to save calories. Added a squeeze of fresh lemon at the end. Yum!!"

Delicious! My husband, who hates onions, couldn't even tell they were in this recipe, they cook up so tender and soft. Yummy sauce and crunchy topping make it extra special. I only added a couple of dashes of salt, and I used salted butter in place of the 2 tsps listed. Turned out perfectly."

Pancake Perfection! Quite possibly the best I have ever made or eaten. Worth the small amount of extra effort to make these vs. boxed instant pancakes. You won't be disappointed.""
