I found another recipe that calls for 1 1/2 cups cold water, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/3 cup corn starch, 3 egg yolks, 3 tablespoons butter, and 1/4 cup lemon juice. I have made this recipe twice and it came out great both times.
