Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup
"One of the easiest soup recipes I have made but unlike most easy recipes, this one is tasty without any embellishments. I made this for a party to sit out in a crock pot for guests to help themselves while I finished preparing the main course. I doubled the recipe and was shocked that all but about 1 cup of it was gone once dinner was served. Ever""
Reviewed Artichoke Fritters
"This recipe is VERY easy and the fitters come out fabulous. However, I like a little more zing in my fritter so next time I'm going to add some cayenne pepper or other spices to give them a little bit more punch. All in all, though, this is a great recipe to start from!""
Reviewed Scalloped Potatoes
"First of all, I have to admit I haven't eaten this yet. (It's in the oven and smells delicious. But I was disappointed that it takes 4 cups of heavy cream to just par-cook the potatoes. I ended up with at least 2 cups leftover in my pot after transferring the potatoes to their baking dish (and yes, I included some of the cream as well. In this economy, I am going to stick with my grandmother's recipe which calls for way less cream and no par cooking of potatoes. "
