The process for pot roast is rather basic, there's nothing new here. The spices are basic, too. The roast was ok, nothing spectacular.
I do find it interesting that so many reviewers gave this recipe 5 stars and then proceeded to explain what they added to make it better. ""

I made this today, but I used a dollop of butter (1 tablespoon)rather than oil. I didn't staple the bag (couldn't find the stapler), just folded it over 3 times, and there was no popcorn flying about the microwave. The butter was salted, so there was no need for any extra salt. Tasty, will make again."
