Reviewed Soft Pretzels
"These were anything but SOFT. Hubby and I were excited to make these and had some our family over for pretzels and a movie...well, it was pretty embarrassing to say the least. I know FNM has great recipes, but this one really had no place in there. Sorry, Guy. I'm just wondering if anyone actually tested this recipe...I bought all ingredients and checked online for reviews right before getting started and freaked out with negative reviews but heeded their advice and let dough rest for about 30 mins/lowered temp to 415 deg(parchment will burn past 420) & baked 15 min. Made 2 batches of dough anyway. Made 7 cream cheese/pesto which I liked the most, 7 pepperoni/mozzarella which were flavorless...all you could taste was wheat, 7 Nutella/coconut and 7 Nutella/pecan.Nutella flavor was baaaarely there. They were tough and the wheat turned everyone's taste buds off :( Someone suggested making a pizza w/other dough/pepperoni/mozzarella and, THAT PIZZA was awesome

Reviewed Pork Chops With Apples and Garlic Smashed Potatoes
"I really loved the flavors in this dish! I don't think I'd ever tried fresh sage (or any other fresh herb for that matter), but I really loved the intensity of the flavor. I will definitely be trying fresh herbs more in dishes! The apples and onions were mmmmmmmmm even tho my pork chops seemed a little tough, and I'm not sure exactly what that means, or maybe they're supposed to be, idk. Either way loved it along with the mashed potatoes drizzled with drippings from the chops/apple/onion dish. I would love to make again, but hubby is not too crazy for pork that as he says, "tastes porky." Lol It's PORK so it can't taste like beef or chicken...but try explaining that to him...
