"So Good. I used poblano peppers instead of green bell and used red pepper flakes instead of chili powder. I added more liquid because I like my beans soupy. I figure they will be more like bake beans the second day. We really enjoyed this flavorable dish.

We loved this salad and plan to serve it often. My husband even ate the brocolli. HOWEVER, the pasta water needs LOTS OF SALT in order to flavor the pasta and the vegetable!! Water needs to taste salty before adding the pasta!!"

I have always enjoyed cooking.  Was in 4-H for four years.  Won many 1st and 2nd place ribbons at the Indiana State Fair.  Started out collecting recipes from newspapers, magazines, etc.  Many of my recipes are over 50 years old.  For many years I have been collecting cookbooks.  I love to eat good food!
