When i first read the recips i didn't notice the save the butternut squash from the outer to the filling (cause i made the filling the day before) and it was too liquidy so i added a mashed sweet potato. This was a great recipe. I made it with melissa's soy chirizo and it turned out great. Like a tom tom tamale... Or so I'm told since i am a vegetarian. I used a different dough recipe the first time but am going to try emerils next time with vegetable shortening and broth. ""
