"Not sure what happened. Cake was a bit dry, even though I kept a close eye on it. Wasn't impressed with the taste either. Frosting was good, substituted almond liquor for lemon juice. Yum! Plenty of Frosting.""

Reviewed Emeril's Baby Back Ribs with Homemade Barbecue Sauce and Smashed Potato Salad

"Ribs were fantastic!! I would use less oregano & thyme in the Essence,though. I would also either omit the onions in the BBQ sauce or chop them almost to mush. I halved the amount and it was just a little too much. Sorry Emeril!!
Have plenty of BBQ Sauce left over, can't wait to use it again!!! "

Reviewed Baked Beans

"This recipe is the BEST!! Not your typical Boston Baked Beans, which are great, but these are just a little left of center. Big hit at the bar-b-que!! Just enough heat from the cayenne & sweet from the brown sugar.
I did drain off half the bacon fat. I used 4- 14.5oz. cans and mixed it up. 2 dk. red kidney, 1 black, 1 white. I also did 1 1/2 time"
