I live in So.Cal. along the beautiful coastline. I have spent the last 15 years learning how to cook. Now, with my children grown, on their own, and alone with my husband, I find that I love cooking for "therapy", but want easier dishes, but with more "wow" than most quick recipes. I just went back to work after 8 glorious months off - I'm happy to be working again, but loved the freedom.
Favorite Foods
It really bothers me that my love of cooking has made me into a (little) bit of a food snob. Learning how easy it is to saute meat, and then make a pan sauce from the fond, makes it more difficult to order from a menu! My favorite is Julia's Beouf Bourguignon.But, really, I am loving FABULOUS recipes that take little work!
