Excellent! The only thing missing is SALT! I used it to season the vegetables, along with the pepper in the recipe

I don't understand how your family did not like this...unless they are not vegetable eaters (or you did do something wrong).

The recipe I see calls for a pinch of sugar (which is all you need). Did they originally leave this out of the recipe, then revise it, or did people miss the ingredient?

NEVER...in 15 years of catering...has it taken me 45 minutes to caramelize onions. Slice them thinner, add some sugar...you are doing something wrong :(

The recipe I read called for sugar. Why do the comments question this?

Even though this only has a few reviews, I can't believe no one said anything about the salt! These would have been great if not for that. Two teaspoons of Kosher Salt ruined the whole recipe.....inedible. They went right down the drain :(

Reviewed lemon-garlic-herb chicken with grilled prosciutto wrapped asparagus and pesto 3 bean salad

I was looking for a recipe for grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, but one that had the ham cooked, not cold. I only used this recipe for the asparagus and it was the best one on here!! You should put this wrapped asparagus recipe with the others, as it beats them all- hands down!! (I'm sure the rest is good, too ;)) So 5 STARS FOR THE ASPAR...

I am getting ready to make this now. I hope someone sees this quickly.....My question is the liquid involved. The only listed liquid is the juice on one orange, which is about 1/4 cup? How can this be enough for a slow cooker??? Any help?

The flour on the pork is a great idea to thicken this a bit! Thanks!

I make and sell the pumpkin rolls every year. I, too, will stick with my recipe with cream cheese filling. Pumpkin and chocolate- not a great pairing!

I ate fried tomatoes a lot as a kid from the tomatoes we grew. (Also, in a cream sauce) This may sound weird, but we never used green tomatoes...my mother waited until they were ripe and fried them. They were great. Apparently, this is not done too often, as all recipes use the green. Does anyone fry red tomatoes?"

Aug 5, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I don't really understand the "time consuming" comments. What took time to do? I thought the onions wouldn't be crispy enough (I was afraid they'd burn) but once in the oven..they got crispy. I skipped the cheese..added a small amount of bread crumbs to top to add to crispiness. Good, healthier version of the canned classic."

I'd love to give this 5 stars (great flavor), but even the most crispy, fried skin gets soft and blubbery once it is cooked in a sauce. I removed the skin, browned all sides. My thighs were huge and I had ten, so after the browning and sauteing, I made the sauce in the pan until it thickened..and then put chicken and sauce in a 13X9 pan in a 300 d"

I give my modified version 5 stars. I used lo-fat: cheese, bleu cheese dressing and mayo. I didn't use the spices in the noodle packet (too high in sodium), but mixed up my own spices. I did use 2 packets of the broken noodles. The original recipe is too high in unnecessary fat and sodium. (I also added 2 strips of cooked, crumbled turkey bacon. N"

This would be a five star recipe IF: The paprika was cut in 1/2...(and regular tasted better than smokey) and it listed a TBL of sugar for the batter.
My family always uses syrup with corn fritters, too. It was good to hear other people do as well, as there was no mention of it in the recipe or in the video. Fresh corn from the cob works...

Great recipe (though too spicy for small children. I make the seasoning without the pepper for the kids and keep the other bowl for the adults)..I soak the skewers in water first and do on the grill or a flat grill pan. It's much easier to cook this way and the shrimp and scallops get a nice sear without being over-cooked ;)"
