"While I must admit, I would agree with the person below that the chestnuts added a lot of cost, it was certainly a delicious stuffing. The ciabatta bread gave the stuffing a nice little chew to it from that great crust. The bread should have been a bit staler, but that was my fault for buying a very fresh bread on Wednesday and expecting it to be stale on Thursday. (Slice it up and leave it in the air to speed the process.
Otherwise and absolutely delicious recipe and it will stay in my book.
