Reviewed raisin pecan oatmeal cookies

Jun 10, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I am not an oatmeal cookie fan, but my husband is. As a treat for him, I made these cookies yesterday. I did not have raisins so used craisins instead. I have to tell you, these are by far the best oatmeal cookies I have ever tasted. Just be sure and flatten them a bit before you bake them as they do not spread much. This recipe could turn me...

Reviewed rice pudding with vanilla bean, orange and rum

I have made this recipe several times and it is awesome. It is easy, very tasty, and with the oranges is a welcome departure from the traditional rice pudding. We love it.

Reviewed Balsamic Chocolate Truffles

I made these truffles for my Christmas baskets this year. Because of some of the comments in other reviews, I added an extra tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. I also dipped them instead of rolling them in cocoa or powdered sugar. They were awesome. Thank you Giada. I can always count on your recipes to be the tops!

Reviewed Dry-Rubbed Rib-Eye

Dec 15, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This rub is awesome. I read many other reviews about it being too salty - it wasn't for me. I had nice thick steaks. I liberally applied the rub and left them in the refrigerator for three days. The steak was awesome - it did not need more salt, but I did not taste salt in it. The brown sugar helped create a nice crust. I will definitely continue...

Reviewed Oklahoma Joe's Smoked Brisket Flat

My husband's birthday was last weekend and we decided to smoke a brisket for a family and friend get-together. OMG - this was FANTASTIC! I followed the directions to the letter. The rub was fabulous and the brisket was so incredibly flavorful, moist, and tender. My neighbors (who are brisket snobs, said it was the best they had ever tasted. T"

I was looking for a different recipe to try (on a boring Sunday afternoon). I found this one and decided to try it. I have always had great luck with Giada's recipes and this one is no exception. The flavor is fantastic, the texture is fabulous! It is moist and delicious. It is wonderful topped with fresh strawberries. It will stay in my recipe"

I have been making this recipe since I first saw Giada prepare it. The first time I served it was at a bar-b-que. It was a huge hit! I use whatever fruit I have on hand. I am particularly fond of the kick the mint gives it. This is a recipe that is worth keeping."

I have made this recipe a multitude of times. Every time I serve it to guests, they ask for the recipe. It is so versatile - you can make it your own and make it fit with virtually any meal. I love it and appreciate the great recipes Giada shares. Thank you."

Reviewed Pumpkin Roulade with Ginger Buttercream

Nov 19, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is my third Thanksgiving to make this dessert. I have had "gentle reminders" for several weeks about how much everybody loves this. I have shared the recipe with numerous people - all of whom have added it to the "must make" list for the holiday. It is really much simpler to make than it sounds (but I don't tell my family that). It's kind"
