.I made this today to take to a party and it was a HIT There is no need to use a cast iron skillet. Wouldn't change a thing! This is a keeper and every one wanted the recipe.

I have made this several time and every one raved about it. I added 1 Tbs. of vanilla and 1/2 c. of oatmeal to the crumble. Yum! I am doubleing it for Thanksgiving and adding a granny smith apple for a little crunch. Don't forget the lemon!"

Wonderful. Five cups of berrys would have been enough. I use a larger pie plate than recommended and it still ran over. Glad they recommended to put it on a baking sheet. I put the topping on for the last 15 minutes of baking. My ovens are only two months old. I would have cried if I would have had to clean that up. "
