Reviewed Creamy Wild Rice

I think this dish has potential. I made it tonight, while I was making two other dishes so I was stretched for thought. I think it really only needs a maximum of 1 tbsp. of mustard if any. The end result really just tasted like mustard. I hesitated when I added it. I should have gone with my instincts! So if you try this recipe, just add a little...

I love this recipe. I was looking for a recipe for lunch where I had all the ingredients on hand. This one worked. I also added less mayo like everyone else, and instead of hot sauce I added a teaspoon or two of mustard. Yum! I will try it with the hot sauce next time. "

I hate to be negative since almost everybody else loved this. I think it is just okay because, to me, there is way too much vinegar. I couldn't taste anything else. I think next time I do this recipe I will do like some others and add Dijon mustard to the vinegar instead of mustard seeds. I couldn't even taste the mustard seeds. I think with a little...

This is delicious! I made this dish for my toddler. I steamed some broccoli florets and added them at the end. My son gobbled up the broccoli before even eating the pasta. I used a toddler friendly pasta. Definitely a guilty pleasure for those of you counting calories, but worth it!

This was amazingly good! We made this for our family Christmas dinner last night, and everybody loved it. Instead of using Gruyere we used French 12 month Comte. It has a milder taste. It was wonderful. Next time I will try the Gruyere.

Reviewed Miso-Ginger Marinated Grilled Salmon

Excellent! The combination of the salmon with the miso marinade is perfect. I don't usually like salmon, but in this case I'd eat it every week. We used a lot more of the marinade than it called for, which was just a personal preference. My husband and I like the stronger miso flavor over the fish.

I would have given this recipe 5 stars had the onions turned out. The onions did not have enough moisture to keep the the bread crumbs and flour from just falling off. Most of the onions turned out naked and burnt. I ended up scratching this recipe for Thanksgiving since the onions didn't work, but I made it last night since I had most of the ingredients....

Reviewed Perfect French Toast

This is a terrific, simple french toast recipe. I used farmhouse bread and cut it 3/4 of an inch. At the end I sprinkled cinnamon and confectioner's sugar like my mom used to when I was little. Yum-my!
