This was delicious and it cooked way-quicker than the recipe said. We substituted chicken stock for the water and used 1/2 of the butter, and it was still great. Love you Jamie, everything you make is wonderful, thanks!"

"Hanging ice cream" sounded strenuous, so I jumped in the car, went to a local ice cream stand, was the 4th million customer so my RB float was free, was featured in the newspaper, met the man of my dreams and danced the night away! Won the lottery later so I'm rich! Thanks Rach, your hard recipe was a winner for me!"

Bobby, you're the master..........what have I done before your brilliant recipe for toasting items? Paid $600+ for a salamander broiler, used my neighbor's chicken incubator and grilled on manhole covers. WOW, a pan, why didn't I think of that? "

Reviewed Stuffed Belgian Endive

Apr 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Tasty, not outstanding. Was pleasantly surprised with swiss replacing the traditional gruyere. 4 endives were $7.99/lb, so almost $5 for the endive alone. Since I already had ham, I used 2 pieces for each endive, and we thought the whole dish needed lots of pepper. If I make it again I'll pepper the endives before wrapping with ham. "

Icky sweet, the milk element doesn't work. Keep it simple Sandy -- Coke + grenadine + maraschino cherry juice. Hilarious how you didn't make a cocktail to moan over.....trying to tone down the lush-factor?"

Tilapia was sooooooo expensive, even on sale, so I opted for, ever-on-sale, SPAM. Had never had it done Piccata-style and was it just delicious. See, like Melissa says every week, you really can feed your family for $10.

Our small town doesn't have a cheese shop, let alone a 'good cheese shop'. But we do have a nifty Spur gas station. Since they didn't have any blocks of cheese, I bought some sliced-variety--American, Swiss, Jack and, just to add a little surprise, some bologne. I matched up the edges, and cut it into triangles. From the side they looked like rainbows....

Great flavor, but I had some burned ends and some middles that needed more cook time. Great idea from another reviewer to use olive oil, will do next time, and maybe cut the fries a bit bigger? We liked this enough to make it work. Who doesn't like sweet potatoes?

Oh darn, should've checked the reviews -- love Alphacook's chopstick idea for dipping. My fingers were a mess and transfering rings from buttermilk to crumbs made the crumbs 'wet'. Rings were just okay, nothing great. Wish I'd used Panko instead of chips. They did crunch-up but I wouldn't make them again.
