I've cooked all my life. I was taught by my mother who was an awesome cook. So I don't need lessons, but I've come to know that Bobby's recipes are really good. I made this last night for just my husband and me after wook. It was a nice weeknight meal. We both liked it a lot. I have no idea what Sambal is and haven't tried to find out yet, b"

Reviewed Texas-Style Potato Salad with Mustard and Pickled Red Onions

My mom grew up in Oklahoma. Her potato salad was also very eggy and mustardy. I made this recipe exactly as written. It was delicious, although not my mom's potato salad. I took it to a family potluck which included my sister and my (now 80 year old) mother. Both ate mounds of this salad and loved it. I recommend it highly. I don't think I "

Very yummy. Also easy and fast. This recipe has gone immediately into my files for next time. I used sliced almonds instead of slivered and less flour and eggs. "

This recipe rocks. Okay, so less peanut butter, maybe half of the amount called for. Other than that, it's awesome and will be my new pasta salad when an asian theme is needed. This dressing is delicious and quick. ""

Sometimes I put feta on it. Does the duck fat make all that much difference or is this just fancy smancy? I wouldn't even know where to buy duc"

Reviewed Granola

Just basic really good granola without a ton of extra ingredients. I already had everything. I've made it twice. First time just as the recipe called. Second time I reduced the sweetness a bit, used filberts because I had them, added a cap full of vanilla. The littlest mouths that I feed love it. "

This was Way Not My Mother's Swiss Steak. But we loved it and will be eating it again soon. (I added mushrooms but left the seasoning as is.) Even the little ones slurped it down. The picky eaters went back again. Guess we liked it.

This was a big success at our house. Isn't that the way with simple things. We'll be doing it again soon.
