My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I doubled the recipe, I used vegetable broth instead of chicken to make it a vegetarian dish, and I omitted the water. I also didn't bother making the oil drizzle. It turned out to be a hearty stew. It needed salt, but we added to our individual bowls to taste and it was perfect.""

I tried this recipe because it sounded like an updated version of the traditional french's casserole, but uses fresh ingredients, which is a must for me. It turned out fabulous. It tastes so much better than the traditional version. I'm rating it 5 stars because it is tasty and healthy, but it is pretty time consuming. It took me a lot longer...
