Reviewed Creamed Corn and Bacon

Oct 7, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Fantastic! nobody in the house could stop eating this. The fresh corn and the thyme make this dish over the top. The flavor is killer. I made it with the brussel sprouts and pork from the episode and we all agreed-an outstanding meal. I will never be able to eat canned cream corn again.

I avoided brussel sprouts my entire life, probably due to getting served it a lot and basic prep as a child, but I thought this recipe was quite tasty. My husband loves them and he liked these.

I made the two sides with pork and the meal was amazing. The rub and glaze were delish and so easy to make.

This is one of the tastiest "quiches" I've ever made. I made it for brunch this morning and the nice thing is that all I had to add to the meal was fruit. I followed the recipe to the letter and it was wonderful. I always have fresh nutmeg on hand so used that. My husband loved it and he normally doesn't comment on food unless I ask him directly."

These are so yummy! They are the perfect breakfast snack when I go for my power walks in the morning so I don't have to waste time making breakfast. It's nice that the recipe uses honey instead of corn syrup that many of these kind of treats call for. I also cut them into smaller slices and find they are filling enough. It's hard to walk by them w"

Reviewed The Best Green Beans Ever

Wow! The recipe name says it all. My husband and I couldn't stop gushing about how good this is. He called it green bean candy. I didn't think anything could beat the green bean casserole which I only make once a year anyway and this I would make all year long and of course is healthier too. I have been wishing for a tasty fresh green bean recipe "

This is absolutely delicious. It was hard to stop eating it. The contrast of flavors is a party in my mouth. The only thing I did differently was using a lot more almonds to even up the ratio of beets to almonds since the combination is so good."

I'm rating it 5 stars because it was absolutely delicious and it was easy to make with minimal ingredients and steps. But, I had 2 issues, the main one being that I followed the recipe to the letter yet the pastry that I rolled out to 10" sq. didn't come close to covering the filling. I must have had 2-3" gap. It still came out perfectly and the f"

I made the whole meal in the episode minus dessert and even though we loved it all, this was the BIG HIT! I made it exactly as directed and so glad I did because it was perfect. We all loved it. The nice thing about this is it's a complete meal. The side dish is built in and it's very satisfying. The only adjustment I had to make is when topping the eggplant (1 lb. seemed to be the average size at the store) the amounts for the cheese and pasta sauce didn't go far enough so I just played it by ear at that point. There isn't much more I can say that hasn't already been said. It's like the "crack" of sweet rolls. My husband kept coming in the kitchen for more. We just started eating them with a fork out of the pan. It's hard to stop thinking about them after eating them. "

I just made the cakes from the 9/10/12 printed recipe. Now I get to throw everything out so I wasted my afternoon and $$ because the current recipe is totally different. I was in the fridge and noticed I had not used the sour cream---well, there's no mention of it in my directions. It said to use 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream in the batter. Then wi"
