Reviewed Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya
"My boyfriend and I had so much fun making this dish in my new French oven!! A lot of chopping though so it's great to get your honey involved ; This jambalaya was delish! We made some slight changes, such as we added scallops as well as shrimp and manzanilla olives..YUM! And it makes so much, we had meals for days!"
Reviewed French Onion Soup
"THIS WAS DELICIOUS!!! I highly recommend making this soup and it was so easy! I added a few shakes of Worstershire to deepen the flavor a tad, but it was so good. My boyfriend and I instantly wanted a second bowl. Great cozy soup for Winter!"
Reviewed Spicy Juicy Lucy-fer Sliders
"These sliders were SOOOOO juicy and delicious! I absolutely LOVED the ketchup/balsamic concoction. I made plenty extra and we enjoyed it for dipping. The sauce paired perfectly with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. I am definitely making these sliders for my next cocktail party!"
Reviewed Herb-Marinated Pork Tenderloins
"As my boyfriend would say "This was the best pork he has ever eaten!" I have to agree! I marinated the pork over night and it really sealed in all the flavors, especially the lemon juice and fresh zest! I paired Ina's pork with her pan roasted root vegetables from her Back to Basics cookbook. Great Fall meal!"
Reviewed Raspberry Tiramisu
"Scrumptious!! A definite must try if you are a fan of fresh raspberries! Even better the next day so if possible make it the night before!
I am a foodie at heart! I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen as well as write about my food experiences. Whether we are heading out to a lovely dinner or staying in with a bottle of wine and some great music...food is always a priority!
EVERYTHING!!! My mother is an amazing Italian cook so I would have to say Italian specialties. However I eat whatever I am in the mood for. My appetite definitely goes along with the seasons so in the Summer it is all about seafood, seafood, seafood. Whether chillin and grillin or steaming up a pot of lobster I LOVE it!
