Reviewed Mock Risotto

Feb 23, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I didn't think this was at all similar to risotto, but that is not what bothered me about the dish. I expected something rich (because of the cream cheese) but there just wasn't a whole lot of flavor. I think I could have used a little more salt to umph it up, but still, I wouldn't make this again."

Reviewed Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed Orange-Balsamic Glazed Chicken

Reviewed Black Cherry and Black Pepper Lamb Chops with Sweet Pea Risotto

Feb 14, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I only made the lamb with sauce and it was delicious! I do not have a slotted broiler pan so I started by browning both sides of the chops on the stovetop and then popped the skillet into the oven to finish. Sauce was sweet but a perfect accompaniment!
