This was very bland and not good at all. "

Delicious pretzels!! This recipe is definitely a keeper as a regular game day snack. I don't make the sauce though and the recipe calls for way too much butter to be melted."

These were okay, but they were very bland. They're not worth investing the calories & effort if that is all you get out of it. ""

This was just really plain. It was simple, cheap and healthy, but it really wasn't very good."

This is a great recipe! It reminded me of Ciopinno, but with pasta which gave it a new twist. I did change a few things though, I prefer it with shell pasta because it holds the sauce, which is really soupy. I usually prefer thicker pasta sauces, but with the shells holding the sauce, and with the seafood and spices this really works. My boyfriend...

These were delicious! They were simple to make and tasty, we've made them for lunches on multiple occasions. We did leave off the fontina cheese because it just seemed like too many ingredients to buy for a lunch, and it didn't seem like it needed it. The Gouda definitely had a strong enough cheese flavor, any more cheese and it would overpower the...

Reviewed Coffee Rubbed Rib-Eye

Mar 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was not good. The coffee got a burnt flavor to it, although the meat was definitely not overcooked. It was edible, but definitely not something I would do again."

Reviewed Bubba's Creamy Spicy Seafood Pasta

Mar 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was not good. It came out very bland tasting. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one was that it was edible, it was just really plain. This recipe could have potential if something else is added, it isn't bad tasting, it's just so plain that after a few bites it's difficult to eat. I was really disappointed to waste good seafood...

Reviewed Cauliflower-Goat Cheese Gratin

Feb 21, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a very good side dish! I cut the cream in half after reading a lot of reviews and there was a little bit of soupyness in the bottom, but it didn't detract from the flavor at all. It was simple to make and is a very tasty way to have a vegetable side dish!"

Reviewed Balsamic Braised Guinea Hen with Onions, Carrots and New Potatoes

Feb 20, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was not good. We used cornish game hens, which I've always loved, but not with this recipe! The sauce was basically just plain balsamic vinegar, and the vegetables had sauteed in the vinegar so they completely lost their flavor and tasted purely like vinegar. It was a ton of work, took hours to make and came out just barely edible.

This was a yummy, simple recipe. The only complaint is it is pretty light, so next time we're going to toast baguette and serve this on top. I can't wait to try it again!

Reviewed Eggplant Parmigiana

Jan 26, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The cooking time/temp was all wrong, I wish the would fix recipes when they have an obvious error in them and many people have commented about it. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I were each making our own meals for dinner (we have a few favorite foods that the other one strongly dislikes) so the cooking time for mine definitely threw off our meal....

Reviewed Clam Chowder

Jan 25, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a lot of work, but it came out pretty good. The only thing I really didn't like was it was too lemony, so I would recommend using half a lemon instead. It definitely had a good flavor otherwise though, and I will try it again!

Reviewed Lobster Ravioli with Crabmeat Cream Sauce

Jan 25, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

To be fair, we buy the lobster ravioli from trader joe's, but we use this sauce and it is delicious!! We leave the crab meat out and just make it as a tomato cream sauce and it comes out delicious!! This has become one of our favorite meals, and we made it for my boyfriend's family this december and they all loved it. Yum!

These were horrible! I was so excited to make them, but they came out almost inedible. They tasted purely like wheat flour and were rock hard on the outside, and very dense on the inside. I just made the plain ones with salt on the top, but I was extremely disappointed.
