"My GF hubby asked me to make these. I was skeptical, but they turned out great. If I put the dough in the fridge for an hour or two, they spread much less! Nevertheless, they remind me of the consistency of lace cookies - crunchy and sweet and almost caramelized. The only change we made was to soak the raisins over night in Grand Marnier. Next tim"

"These are so very yummy. Because my husband must eat Gluten Free, we used Jules flour instead of wheat and I lessened the sugar to 1 tbl, and they were just fabulous with homemade soup for dinner and with eggs for breakfast."
