Fabulous!!! My daughter made these for me for mother's day. They were phenomenal. She used bacon in place of pancetta (that's what we had in the house) and substituted apple for the pear (not huge pear fans) and incorporated the apple and parmesan into the batter as opposed to just on top. Thank you for the update. My daughter made this for us tonight and mixing the honey with equal parts warm water worked perfectly. This drink was like a taste of summer in your mouth. This will become one of our summer staples. I can't wait to make it for friends. "
