Somehow my earlier comments disappeared. On a food site it seems silly to criticize a recipe for including ingredients you may not have in your pantry. The spice blend here is available, and described, on the Savory Spice Shop's website. It is their version of the Moroccan Spice blend ras el hannout which translates to "top of the shop." PS - Making preserved lemons is dead easy. Try googling the term "Moroccan preserved lemon" and you will see how really simple they are to prepare. No need to buy them; do it yourself
