Reviewed Stracotto (Pot Roast) with Porcini Mushrooms

My family is in love with this roast recipe���they even beg for it! It's simple to make and I'm a hero every time I set it on the table. At the 90 minute "turn the roast over", I add a bag of mini carrots and they are done when the roast is finished. I fish them out before I use the emulsifier. HIGHLY recommended!

This was my first time making refried beans. I had been searching for a perfect recipe and I'll look no further, it's easy and ohhh sooo good! I followed to recipe exactly. Only suggestion is: mine needed a lot more salt.

I trusted the recipe and just dumped the 2 cups of cream in the blender so they were very soupy. Seriously for them to look like the picture it would be either 2 lbs of parsnips or 1 c of cream. Despite that, man o man, they are soooo delish!"

I felt like the apple needed to cook longer. I've never made carmelso first try I burned it second time, I'm not sure what went wrong but it was super hard yet had the best flavor. We were cracking it and eating it like candy. I'll try making this again because despite all this, it was delicious!"
