I've made this multiple times. Most recently was just before Christmas for me and my hubby. I can not think of a better version of Chicken Cacciatore than this recipe. Reviewed Ratatouille Stuffed Jack-o-Peppers

Oct 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My family loved these peppers! They were so cute and delicious... I had some frozen tomato sauce from the summer and because of this, they were a cinch to prepare. The addition of the breadcrumbs gave the peppers a great texture. I also added in a link of italian sausage at the beginging, before adding the veggies. I will make these again!"

Reviewed Shepherd's Pie

Oct 1, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

There is no need for another Shepherd's pie recipe. Watching this episode on Good Eats was enough to make me get the ingredients (and cheat on my diet) and get this in the oven. The addition of the egg in the potatoes was foreign to me but it makes total sense. The potatoes were delicious and the meat mixture was so tender and flavorful. LOVE!"

Better than traditional german potato salad. I grew up eating my moms german potato salad and LOVE it. but the addition of the tarragon in this recipe took it to another level. It was more gourmet and the slab bacon was money too!"

Reviewed Schnitzel Biscuits

Oct 1, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

LOVED this recipe. I did as instructed and brined the pork and took off the silver skin, pounded out the medallions and seasoned them properly. It was worth it. My guests raved about the sammies and the raspberry mayo is what kept them coming back! This was a great app, hearty and flavorful.

I pan fried the schnitzel about 3 hours...

Reviewed Chicago Italian Beef (Pot Roast Style

Oct 1, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Totally love this recipe, so easy to do and so flavorful. Like others who have commented I am from the Chicagoland area and know how a beef should taste.. and this is it. It may not have the texture (you would need a deli slicer for that) but the flavor is spot on. Add ontop the sweet peppers and Giardiniera and you have a true beef sandwich AT h"

This recipe has instantly become one of my favorite pasta dishes. It has all the flavors my family loves and the shape of the pasta makes it something special. Jul 15, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Alton Brown NEVER fails. I cooked the ribs at 350 for 1 hour, then dropped the oven to 250 for 2 hours... by the time I was flipping them on the grill... The meat could barely stay on the bone... So delicious! And the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy! I added a shot of apple cider vinegar to the sauce as well. Best ribs I ever had. "

LOVED IT! My family loves soup and I was doing an Indian inspired menu and decided to put some soup on the table as well. I am so glad I did because it was my favorite part of the entire meal. Reviewed Simple Balsamic Vinaigrette

Jul 5, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My husband and me love this dressing, I might go higher on the vinegar to oil ratio, as in more vinegar, less oil, but thats because we like the zip of the balsamic. I also add a touch of dijon to give it more body. Yum!!"

Light and so flavorful from the additions of sun dried tomatoes and feta. I didn't use all the olive...
