About Me

I'm 54, a mother of two and grandmother of twin girls.  I love nature, gardening, music, and sharing good food that I've made. What a great blessing! My best memories are of cooking and baking with my daughter and fiance'. I think my pet peeve on this site is when people drastically change a recipe, and then complain that it didn't come out right!

Favorite Foods

I love Asian and Mexican foods, I get pretty many requests for my holiday recipes, especially cookies, (a big Christmas baking event every year in my kitchen).   My two favorite restaurants here in our town are Tokyo Hibachi, and Alebrije. Oh, and Cracker Barrel! Yummm!
