My Activity

Reviewed The Ultimate Barbecued Chicken

"The brine made the chicken tender and moist, make sure you don't skip that very important step! I find most BBQ sauce recipes are always a little off so I was skeptical of this one. I didn't have any bacon so I left it out and it was still one of the best BBQ sauces i've ever eaten! I found the setting up of the grill for only 10 mins of cooking t"

Reviewed Mini Memphis Burgers

"I was skeptical about this recipe because it looked so plain & simple, but these were some of the best seasoned burgers i've ever eaten. They were delicious! Next time I will make them as regular sized burgers as my family didn't like the sliders size, but they tasted great!!"

Reviewed Buttermilk Pecan Pancakes with Mamma Callie's Syrup

"I've never made homemade pancakes before but these were amazing! They were so light and fluffy & they were very easy to make. I also made the syrup & I have to say its better than any bottled syrup i've ever eaten....I am going to start making it by the bottle to keep in the house, I will deff be making both of these on a regular basis!"

Reviewed Southern Biscuits

"These were the best homemade biscuits i've ever had. I had to add an extra tblsp of butter bc it was a little dry as I was mixing the ingredients but they were great, I will never buy canned biscuits again!"

Reviewed Pat's Famous Beef and Pork Chili

"This chili was the best i've ever had, hands down. I couldn't find chipotle chili powder so I used chipotle chili pepper instead and it worked just as well. It had the perfect spice to it without being overwhelming. I also put 2 cans of kidney beans & I can of black beans because I didn't think there were enough beans for the amount of meat there was. The recipe didn't say whether to simmer it covered or not so I did covered for 1 hour and uncovered for the last 30 mins. It made a huge pot of chili. I will never make any other chili recipe again, this was more than amazing."

Reviewed Slamma Jamma Parmigiana

"I saw this on TV the other day and I just had to try it, it looked so delicious. I will say i'm giving this dish 4 stars strictly because the chicken was just that good! I didn't have panko bread crumbs so I used regular bread crumbs and crushed up corn flakes to give it a crunch. I also fried them on the stove just until the breading was slightly browned then baked them in the oven for about 20 mins. It made them far less greasy. Now to the bad part....the sauce. It took so long to cook and it wasn't good at all, I ended up having to throw it out and use sauce out of a can because I didn't have time to make new sauce. That being said, if you have another sauce recipe you like I recommend making that instead of this sauce recipe, it was just awful! The chicken was so good I was still tempted to give this recipe 5 stars, deff don't pass that part of this recipe by!!

Reviewed Succotash Salad

"I changed it up a little & used frozen lima beans as well as 1 can of green beans & 1 can of corn & a few chopped carrots sauteed in jalapeno juice to give it a little kick because I didn't have tomatoes or a bell pepper. I followed the dressing recipe exactly. It needed a little salt as it was kind of bland, but otherwise it was great & I will be making this recipe again!

Reviewed Smoked Cider Brisket

"This was my first time making brisket so I accidently bought corned beef brisket instead of a regular brisket and I didn't realize it until I already did the brine so mine was a little salty but my family likes it that way, double check at the store on what you're buying. I cooked it in my smoker all afternoon & finished the last hour 1/2 in the oven, it was very juicy & had a lot of flavor, the BBQ sauce was great as well. We had no leftovers, it was great I would deff make this again!!
