AWESOME! The fresh vegetables definitely made the soup. This soup was even better the next day. In my personal opinion, the recipe serves more than 6 people. The only thing I swapped was the green beans for garden peas. (Didn't have any green beans on hand) Serve with a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich!"

Loved it! I had to make this recipe once I saw what was in it - bacon and corn. I really liked the texture and taste of the corn in this recipe. However, I didn't really taste the bacon in the cornbread. Didn't have maple bacon on hand, as the recipe calls for it, so I just used regular bacon. Added a tablespoon of maple syrup to the liquid batter...
