Reviewed Venetian Panino

Dec 28, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These were so tangy and savory. They were amazing! I cut them into quarters for a party and everyone loved them! I did add about a teaspoon of worcestershire sauce and I used sourdough bread. They were perfect and I will definitely make them again!"

Reviewed Warm Vegetable Salad

This salad was a miss for me. I felt there was too much lemon zest and the parsley was very overwhelming. I also cooked the potatoes for 2 minutes longer than described, but they were still not tender in the salad. Overall, my guests and I thought this dish was just okay- not terrible, but not good either"

Reviewed Mini Italian Pub Burgers

These burgers were delicious! They had such great flavor and were easy to make. I prepped all of the flavorings in the food processor, but worked them into the beef by hand. Everyone loved them!"

Reviewed Chicken with Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato

May 7, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This recipe was very good. I could only get bone-in chicken breast with the skin on, but it worked out just fine. I cooked the breasts for 45 minutes. My dinner guests loved this dish and said it was one of the best chicken breasts they've ever had!"

Reviewed Kathleen King's Double Chocolate Almond Cookies

Feb 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

These cookies are fantastic! The salted butter really enhances the flavor. These were the favorite out 4 different types of cookies I made this holiday season. The white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips give it great flavor and I actually really liked the almonds in here when I am not usually a fan of nuts in cookies. These were delic...

Reviewed Eli's Asian Salmon

Feb 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was not a huge fan of this recipe. I actually thought the flavor was really great, but the soggy consistency of the crust ruins it. You expect it to be crisp and it just isn't. I also used low sodium soy sauce and omitted the fish sauce. With those tweaks, I did not find it to be too salty. I did not dislike it, but would not make it again...

Reviewed Artichoke Soup with Fresh Mint

Feb 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I added 2 garlic cloves to this recipe and it really enhanced the overall flavor. I am a really big soup lover and I liked this soup. It is very healthy and refreshing and I enjoyed the texture. It has a unique flavor and the lemon juice made it yummy.""

Reviewed Espresso Caramel Bars

Feb 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I had been wanting to make these for some time after seeing Giada make them on her show. I finally got around to making them and they were very good! Making your own caramel is much easier than I thought it would be. I used a candy thermometer, which I think is key, and the caramel was the perfect consistency after chilling. I brought these t...

Reviewed Mascarpone Chocolate Toffee Bars

Feb 29, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I consider myself a beginner when it comes to baking and these dessert bars are so wonderful! They are creamy and delicious without being too sweet. My husband loves them and he can be a tough critic! The only change I make to this recipe is that I leave out the sliced almonds and just use the chopped chocolate toffee bits. This is my go-to d...
