Reviewed Butternut Squash Soup

"We loved loved LOVED this soup! Huge hit in my family. Even my extremely picky father enjoyed it- and his idea of veggies are french fries.

We also made changes the second time we made it. We added Yukon gold potatoes and ground sausage. SO delicious!""

Reviewed Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Cheesecake Pops

"Holy sweetness. I loved these! I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I've been craving any p'nut butter/chocolate combos. This seriously hits the spot. I knew it'd take a long time to make, but I'm glad that it yields such amazing results. I'm so glad I can keep them in the freezer and just pull them out when my cravings call.

My only complaint would be whe""

Reviewed Fried Rice

"My family and I loved the rice. It was really awesome. It's something that you might expect when eating at a restaurant but to me it was more satisfying because I made it. I was in a rush so instead of mincing the carrots, I sliced them really thinly. My local grocery store didn't have the mushrooms called for in the recipe, so I just left them ou""

Reviewed Curried Chicken Salad Sandwich

"Definately a new favorite in our household of picky eaters. My family just learned that spices make food good, and with only three tablespoons of curry powder, it's a great introduction to our simple palates. My 14 month old daughter loved the curried chicken! Like many others, I used boneless skinless chicken breasts. And I also added about 1/4 c""

Reviewed Roasted Vegetable Meatloaf with Balsamic Glaze

"I made this recipe for the first time. My only complaint was the thyme. Maybe it's a pregnant thing, or maybe it's a me-thing, but I didn't like how strong it was. I'll definately use less next time or dried to see if I can get a little less taste from the thyme. Other than that, it was amazing. My family, who are very picky eaters, said that it w"

"I was pregnant when I found this recipe and I'll say this much: totally cured my pregnancy cravings. It was absolutely amazing. The only problem is they go too quickly!!! "

Reviewed Lemon Chicken

"I wasn't so sure about this recipe, until after I ate it. My family now requests it for at least once a month (and trust me; they are some of the pickiest people you'd ever find when it comes do food. Growing up, I thought there were only two meats in the world to eat; chicken and beef! Since we live in a rural area, our grocery stores don't carry much. I used the lemon pie filling found in the baking section instead of lemon curd. It turned out great!

About Me

I had no idea that the think I hated as a child would be what I love doing now! I am in the kitchen constantly, trying to expand my education about food. After I married a very adventurous man, he opened my eyes that there are more than two edible meats (Who knew there were others besides chicken and beef!?!). Now, as a stay at home mother, I learned that it's very important to stay busy for mental health. And don't be suprised that my dvr is filled with tv episodes from Food Network!

Favorite Foods

I love desserts first, of course. But I am pretty open to any type of meal!
