I was worried about the smoke factor so I cooked at 450. There weren't any problems there. I wished I had listened to the few bad reviews I came across but I figured if the majority loved them it was worth a shot. I've made many different brownie recipes before and I knew a pound of butter didn't seem right. But to be fair I followed the recipe as written. The result was a wet greasy mess. These would not cook...not after 20 minutes"
