Delicious! You can use Splenda in the batter, but add a little more yogurt. I added 1/4 cup and it was fine. Sugar dissolves and creates a liquid--Splenda does not. Any time you sub Splenda for the sugar, just make a liquid adjustment.

Used canned peaches--worked just as well. I like a little vanilla in the batter. Also tried this with pears and added a little almond extract to the batter and pears. Worked fantastically--might even like it better than the peaches! Great old recipe. Love that it's so quick and easy."

I love this but added coconut to the crust mixture, then topped it off with toasted coconut. Also made it with limeade--just as good! Does anyone know if you can use ANY frozen fruit concentrates, maybe tropical? Seems like it would open a whole new world in pie flavors."

Loved this recipe! I especially liked the apple mixture going into the food processor -- makes it much easier! I added 1/3 cup each Apple Butter and Craisins for extra spice and moisture. DELICIOUS!
