This recipe for pumpkin pie is really good, and I also have been using fresh sugar pumpkins. The only changes I make are to add 1/8 cup of molasses and a squish of lemon juice. I use my own recipe for the pie crust which is more like Ina's with a combination of Crisco shortening and butter.
