"This recipe is a favorite in my house and at my work!! My son suggested doubling the salt pork, so I also double the carrots and celery and onions. To those who find this recipe bland and too watery: you probably don't have the right amount of peas. Most bags do not have a full pound in them. Be watchful and adjust water as necessary. "
