Reviewed Skillet Almond Shortbread

Oct 17, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

I saw this today and ended up trying it. I read the reviews from others and cut back on the sugar to only 1 cup, added a tsp of vanilla & also added maybe about little under 1/4 cup of ground almond which was added to the batter. It turned out great & moist. I loved the outcome and will make it again!

I saw the video and tried it. I used 1/2 cup sugar each for the outside and inside (1 sheet of puff pastry) filling but I find it too sweet, hence giving this 4 stars. It is quick and easy. Next time I will add nuts to add more flavor and will only use 1/4 cup sugar on each sides. "

Yummy! I made this for my co-workers and everyone liked it. I know that this pudding is sweet, so I only drizzle the sauce maybe 1/4 worth of the sauce and save the leftover as a side. Also, I used raisins as I do not have any dates when I made it. Super moist! This recipe for keepers, thanks much!!! ""

Like everyone here, I saw this at Dr. Oz show. So, I'm curious and went ahead and tried it. I am giving this 3 stars because I have to cut back on the canned tomatoes to probably 1/2 of it and add few things - fresh cut tomatoes (added towards the end so it is too mushy, parmesan cheese, sun dry tomatoes, 2 stalks of green onions (green part only,"
