I am so happy, and surprised it turned out so good, I thought I ruined it at first, I thought it was too runny, but after 20 minutes it had soaked it all up, I had a deep dish, it took an hour to cook it to a nice brown crust, then I saw all the juice peeking through the cracks was worried i did something wrong, went ahead and ate some and guess "

This was good, but you don't need that much oil, this can be done in a skillet, if you don;t have buttermilk, you can mix 3/4 cup of milk with 2 tablespoons white vinegar, let sit for 5 min. it will thicken, but not if you add salt to it, just season the meat""
