I wanted to clone Great Harvest Bakery's Salted Caramel Cookies, and this was a great base. I upped the salt to 1/2 teaspoon, omitted the chocolate chips, and substituted one package of caramel bits. The cookies turned out GREAT, and very close to the real deal, though perhaps a bit too sweet. I might pull back on the brown sugar a bit next time ...

Reviewed Autumn Chicken Pot Pie

This recipe is fantastic. I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs (much easier), and instead of butternut squash, I used sweet potatoes. And I also added some kale to the filling. DELISH!

P.S. I ended up with enough filling for four individual pies, one double-sized pie, and a little more that I had over rice for lunch at work...
