My Activity

Reviewed English Peas

"Well my mom always taught me that canned peas were for poor folk, but after my recent failures trying to adapt Late Night Bacon and Pineapple Wedges myself, I decided I'd better stick to the recipe this time. I don't want another kitchen fire. I opened two cans of "English Peas" but wasn't sure how to drain them. I ended up using paper towels. Half the peas fell down the drain, so I used less butter. The peas tasted like aluminum can and butter. My mom was right. Canned peas are for poor folks.

Reviewed Late Night Bacon

"I don't have a microwave so I attempted this recipe in my toaster oven. The paper towels caught fire and the bacon tasted horrible.

Reviewed Pineapple Wedges

"I had trouble with this recipe but that might be because I did not have a whole fresh pineapple. I still wanted to make this recipe so I decided to substitute 1 Whole Can of Pineapple slices. I cut the can lengthwise to create two boats and then quartered the slices to arrange them in the cans, but I wasn't sure what to do with all that extra juice. Should I have cut the slices in half instead of quartering them?
