"Loves this recipe! Fennel is not one of my favorites, only because I don't cook with it much, excpet in Ina's recipes. It added a nice depth of flavor to the dish. And I've never used Pernod before, again except with Ina's dishes...it makes a huge difference. But a bottle, it'll last for a long time. And a note on tomato paste...i use it oft"
