Reviewed Balsamic Chicken and Mushrooms
"I made this for just one serving and put on top of a slice of crusty bread. MMMMMM! I would gladly make this again."
Reviewed Seared Cod with Chive Butter Sauce
"My goal this year is to serve my family more fish, however I have failed horribly in the past on cooking fish. This was a very easy recipe and I was able to cook the fish without overcooking it. DH raved about the fish as he ate it. The sauce really added to the flavor of the fish. "
"I made the strawberry sauce to put over cheesecake for dessert on Christmas Eve. DH and I tasted the sauce early in the day..... needless to say we could not wait until dessert!! I made a batch with strawberries and a batch with blackberries and mixed them together. Oh, it was heaven!"
Reviewed Crabmeat Fondue
"I tasted this while putting it together, it was going to a little bland. So I added a few shakes of Old Bay and a couple of drops of hot sauce (don't tell DH, he doesn't like anything spicey. This was really good and super easy. Will keep for future use!!""
Reviewed Macadamia-Coconut Cookie
"OH MY GOSH! These are devine. We had to keep everyone away from them while cooling. I think another batch will have to be made, soon. I didn't make any changes to the recipe, just a little generous with the macadamia nuts.""
I love to cook, but I am married to one of the pickiest eaters. I would have to say that his dislikes in food has made me a very creative cook. Me? I work for my husband and we drag race. I drive a 1994 S-10 SS truck.
I love food. I can cook just about anything; however the irony is that I can't bake. When my DH met me, guess where I worked.... a bakery of course. I have a fabulous calico bean recipe that I have developed...I'll post it soon.
