"I made this last night for my family and everyone loved it. So much better than a canned sauce. I also love how you can tailor it to your own tastes; like add chili for spice, or less sugar. I will never buy a canned sauce again."

"I used thighs only. The meat was juicy. However, the breading on the underside of the chicken was mushy. Perhaps the chicken should be turned over half-way in baking."
"The rice part was good. But, the teaspoon of salt in the topping is too much salt. It came out too salty. I was trying to mimic the dish from Saladang in Pasadena. This is not like their sauce."
