Anne you rock, but obviously I don't. I'm using a 5Q enameled dutch oven and even after an hour of "looow and slooow", all the onions did was stew. I finally turned up the heat so I could get them brown (brown food is good food), but by then they had melted down to almost nothing.

Flavor is there, but no onions, :(

Wasn't impressed with the date bread, the Orange Cream Cheese spread was great. Try using it on the Orange Apricot Cranberry bread also on this site.

This bread is great for the holidays. Serve with Ina's Orange Cream Cheese spread and really make an impression.

For me the recipe made two full loaves and two small loaves.
