Great flavor and the cilantro-mint chutney was on point. I recommend either doubling the amount of shrimp or cutting back on the amount of the marinade. Super easy to make and a big hit!"

Great recipe, but I struggled getting the butter/thyme mixture through most of the panko so it didn't brown quite as well as I'd liked. Would love to hear suggestions on how to fix that problem.

Enjoyed this recipe. Keep in mind you can use meat drippings if you've prepared a meat dish to brown them instead of the butter. Also, get the good grated parmesan or grate your own, the stuff in the can doesn't do it justice.

The process is good, but this recipe is pretty plain and simple. I like a hint of soy and sesame with my scallops, so I put soy sauce on a small plate and set the scallops in it for a few seconds... marinating in soy is a bit over the top for me.

Then I add about a 1/2 tsp of sesame oil with the olive oil. Again, a little goes...

I cook this on the grill instead of the oven, get a lot more of the cedar flavor by being over a flame. Just make sure you soak the planks for a few hours, keeps the plank from catching on fire (and the steam brings out more of the cedar too!).

The sauce is excellent, rich! Don't let the jalapenos scare you off, I've made this...
