A comment for those who said they had to add more sugar than expected. Salt. When you are mixing in the sugar, add a PINCH or two of salt so that the sugar "catches." It takes the salty to bring out the sweet, ironically. Also, milk is good to mix in too, for a creamier taste. I made this for my family in El Salvador (who were adamant the Horchata"
